Creative & Cultural Skills creates over 100 jobs

Over one hundred young people in long term unemployment have found work in the creative and cultural sectors, thanks to an innovative programme delivered by Creative & Cultural Skills.

Government funding secured in 2009 has provided 113 young people aged between 18 and 24 with six-month paid positions at leading UK arts organisations, including the Ambassador Theatre Group, Wales Millennium Centre, Live Nation and the Science Museum.

Are you a creative business looking for a graduate intern?

Check out the University for the Creative Arts' Graduate Internship Project, which offers creative businesses in the south east of England £1000 to take on an intern for ten weeks. The employer will need to make up the salary to national minimum wage. Places are limited - apply by 30 September 2010.
