We have published a collection of essays on the role of education in the industry

Everything we do is based on solid evidence. We use our research to understand the skills needs and gaps in the creative and cultural industries, in order to target our efforts and support our partners in taking action.

Our Creative Blueprint programme has directly influenced action across the industry and is at the heart of everything we do as an organisation. Our research forms the basis of all our programmes, and is widely used by government and other partners.

Our research programme looks specifically at the skills needs of the creative and cultural industries, and measures the size and shape of the sector.

  • By measuring the labour market, and tracking development and growth, we can make the case for change in the education system where needed.
  • We have sought at all times to argue the case for the importance of the creative and cultural industries to the UK economy through the use of robust evidence
  • Working both independently and in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders, we have sought to bring about an increased understanding of the creative and cultural industries.
  • Our research has been widely cited in Government policy and commissioned reports. We are committed to ensuring this available to all on the Creative Blueprint library.

It is through our understanding of the sector that we can offer skills and training that are relevant and practical for people working, or aspiring to work, in the creative and cultural industries. Our research gives a key and evolving insight into the sector.
