The National Skills Academy for Creative & Cultural is our network of committed partners from industry and education who work together to improve the provision of skills and training for the creative and cultural industries.

Our partners are based across the UK, and internationally. We work with and through these partners to recognise, develop and improve skills provision in our sector, ensuring that courses and qualifications meet practical employment needs.

We bring people together to share best practice, in particular through our annual conference. Working together through this network, the partners have:

• Delivered industry-led careers events and a unique programme of production day visits for young people
• Initiated new specialist vocational qualifications, including new apprenticeship frameworks, and created over 1,000 creative apprenticeship places in the sector
• Facilitated exchange of best practice with international partners such as the National Centre for Performing Arts in Beijing
• Made the case to build The Backstage Centre, creating a unique space for industry and students to rehearse and train.

This is a network of partners committed to skills, setting professional standards and demanding the highest quality training. Collectively, they have already made a significant difference to the future of the creative and cultural industries, and we want to ensure that this trend continues.
