Since 2008, we have led the developments of the creative apprenticeship frameworks and have seen thousands of apprentices start in the sector, supporting young people to pursue an alternative route into employment in our world leading industry. We remain committed to championing paid, vocational routes to work to address skills gaps and shortages and as a tool for increasing diversity in our current and future workforce.
Complimented by our series of Fair Access Sector Support training and 1:1 advice, this guidance will take businesses through the various steps to understand the differences between apprentices, internships and volunteers and how they can recruit them in a responsible, ethical way.
This guidance is specific to apprenticeships in England. Cultural organisations based in Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales can contact us for advice.
