Kathryn is Head of Partnerships, Scotland at Creative & Cultural Skills. Her role is to work with local employers and stakeholders across the cultural sector to diversify entry routes into the workforce via apprenticeships, paid internships and alternative work focused training routes and to deliver the Creative & Cultural Skills programme of works in Scotland.

Kathryn has 20 years’ experience as a Senior Manager of projects, partnerships and teams within the cultural sector, with specialised knowledge of the international film sector, ranging from developing and delivering Europe-wide training initiatives in screenwriting for screen professionals, to managing the production of dubbed language versions of film franchises such as Indiana Jones, Iron Man, Kung Fu Panda and Shrek at Paramount Pictures. Kathryn also translates scripts, treatments and creative projects from French into English.

Kathryn recently completed the MA Arts, Festival & Cultural Management at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, the only degree of its kind in Scotland. She lives north of Glasgow and takes every opportunity to participate in the rich, vibrant culture Scotland offers. She also enjoys a leisurely stroll in the breathtaking Scottish countryside.
