When is the ceremony?

The ceremony will take place on Monday 1st April in the National Museum Cardiff, starting at 6:30pm. Tickets can be purchased online, and shortlisted nominees will be granted two free tickets.

Who decides who wins the awards?

Creative & Cultural Skills filters out any nominations that do not meet the criteria. If the nomination is deemed to meet the criteria, it is put forward to the independent industry advisory group for eligibility to be shortlisted.

When will I know if I have been shortlisted for an award?

You will be contacted by Creative & Cultural Skills and displayed on our website. Unfortunately we are unable to contact non-shortlisted nominees.

What happens if I get shortlisted for an award?

You will be invited to attend the awards ceremony. Two free tickets will be provided, but unfortunately we can’t reimburse any travel or accommodation costs.

Can I nominate myself for an award?

Yes you can. We accept and encourage self-nominations.

Can I make more than one nomination?

Yes, you can nominate as many people as you want to, but they will need separate nomination forms.

I would like to nominate the team that trained me. Is this allowed?

We understand that sometimes mentoring is a team effort, so we welcome nominations for a small team of people. However if the mentors you would like to nominate work in separate teams or organisations you will need to fill in separate nomination forms.

Are the Northern Ireland Awards separate?

Yes, please see seperate information about the Northern Ireland awards or contact belfast@ccskills.org.uk

Nominations for the Northern Ireland Awards will also be considered for the National Awards.

What should I do with the nomination form when I have completed it?

Simply save it as a word document and send it to conference@ccskills.org.uk and include the award you are nominating for in the subject line.

Is there any way I can nominate someone without filling in the form?

If you are unable to complete this form online or require this in a different format please contact 028 903 25072.

Can I get involved using Twitter?

Yes! We will be tweeting during the lead up to, and during the awards ceremony using #CreativeNationUK. We encourage as many people as possible to join in the conversation. This hashtag will also be used for our National Conference 2019 which is taking place earlier the same day.
