I've also worked in costuming for the White Horse Theatre Company, which is based in Germany.

What qualifications do you have?

I have a degree in design for the stage from the Central School of Speech and Drama.

What do you do at work?

A lot of my time is spent sourcing, adapting and buying costumes.

I once costumed nine shows in three weeks!

What’s the best thing about your job?

I enjoy working with a team of people to realise the costume designs.

And the worst thing about the job?

The long hours (but they’re fun long hours).

How do I get into theatre?

For my line of work, I'd say get as much experience in the different roles within theatre as you can. Understanding theatre's different roles is very important.
