Acting: for Camera Summer School(for ages 13 – 17)

This 5-day course is for young people who have an interest in developing screen acting skills

This intensive five-day summer school is designed for young people who have an interest in developing screen acting skills and techniques.

The course is led by both acting and film tutors who work in the film and television industry. It aims to provide a practical and immersive experience which allows students to develop their own style of acting. This summer school may be useful for those who wish to develop their skills and presence in front of the camera.

This course is suitable for young actors who wish to:

gain an understanding of the essential aspects of acting for camera

develop technical and creative performance skills

work as an actor within a professionally supported shoot explore scenes and monologues from variety of contrasting scripts

learn about the casting process for film and television

By the end of the process students will have a short piece of filmed performance that they can use for their own show reels and portfolios.
