Drama Summer Schools for ages 5 – 7

Led by experienced teaching artists the course will offer a fun and challenging experience.

This week-long summer school for children aged 5-7 uses structured imaginative play and drama activities to explore the characters, settings and themes of a popular children’s story, immersing participants in the fiction as it unfolds in the room.

Led by experienced teaching artists the course will offer a fun, stimulating and challenging experience for all regardless of previous experience.

Throughout the course your child will:

Develop personal confidence and creative decision making skills

Be introduced to story telling, voice and movement skills

Make new friends and work collaboratively in a group

Take part in a rehearsal process and learn about performing to an audience.

Throughout the week, the children will work towards a short, informal sharing of their work for family and friends which takes place in a Royal Conservatoire venue on the last afternoon of the course.
