Free Workshop invitation (Belfast)  on an Erasmus+ Creative Skills Project (LiveSkills)

A workshop for lecturers, curriculum leads, administrators and employers

Date: 16 January 2020, 12:30 - , 17:00

You are cordially invited to a demonstration workshop and taster of the free to use learning materials produced by the
Live Skills Project at the  Belfast Metropolitan College e3 Campus, Thursday 16th January at 12:30 B38, Belfast BT12 7DU

The Live Skills project is an Erasmus+ project co-ordinated by the British Council, with partners in Northern Ireland (Belfast Metropolitan College), Greece, Romania and Bulgaria. Live Skills focusses on developing innovative, evidence based, curricular and work based learning for the live performance and audio visual sector. The project has delivered over 200 learning materials which are free to use under creative commons licence  - and we want to share our learning from the curriculum development process and the potential for the outputs to be used within the UK, and globally.

In the workshop we will share the learning materials created across all three curriculum areas (Arts management, Digital and New Technologies and Cultural Entrepreneurship) as a peer to peer session with one of our vocational education lecturers partners from Belfast Met who will explain what can be used and what they found helpful. We will also share a practical understanding of how to implement the curricula, both for colleges and employers. We will talk through what it’s like for UK vocational educators to collaborate internationally, and how to avoid potential issues and barriers for any future transnational education  / mobility projects that you might be involved in or interested in developing.
