National Theatre Young Makers

Are you interested in making, art, design, costume and props? Are you aged between 14 and 18? Then Young Makers could be for you! National Theatre Young Makers is an exciting opportunity to develop your making and craft skills and learn all about the variety of careers which exist in costume and props teams from top industry professionals.
National Theatre Young Makers will run for five days between Monday 12 August and Friday 16 August 2019. During the week, you will learn different skills and techniques used by our costume and props teams including sewing, 3D making and paint and finishing effects as well as visiting the National Theatre Costume Hire department and exploring the world of prop buying.
Monday 12 August, 10am–5pm
Tuesday 13 August, 10am–5pm
Wednesday 14 August, 10am–5pm
Thursday 15 August, 10am–5pm
Friday 16 August, 10am–5pm
This course includes a ticket to watch Small Island on Thursday 8 August at 7.30pm.
