Stage Production Summer School (for ages 13-17)

This course will be a fun, supportive and challenging environment for all to learn.

This is a practical course that gives you a taste of different production specialisms including lighting, sound and stage management. You will work alongside the Musical Theatre: Live Production summer school and help stage produce the final performance.

This course is for young people aged 13–17 who wish to:

develop an awareness of the production process from initial design through to striking the set

work with experienced industry professionals to develop and expand specialist skills

gain a greater insight into how management and technology functions within the context of the performing arts

learn how lighting and sound design works within the context of the performing arts

participate in a collaborative practical project culminating in a presentation

This summer school will culminate in a presentation on the final day, providing you with an opportunity to present your creative work to others.

This course will be a fun, supportive and challenging environment in which all students, from beginners to advanced, can explore and learn.
