This course is an introduction to Nadine George Voice Work® as developed by Voice Studio International  and is the core vocal training of The Centre for Voice in Performance at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

It is an exploration into the development of each individual human voice and is an opportunity to develop the voice free from judgement, experiencing Nadine George Voice Work used in contemporary actor training today.

The workshop will cover areas of hands-on body work, relaxation, sung sound, full voice energy and text and is open to anyone interested in vocal delivery and the potential of their own voice.

No previous experience is necessary for this course, although participants should have a desire to experiment with their voices individually, in pairs and as a group.

Students are welcome to attend any of The Actor’s Voice courses with no previous experience, however each of these courses will allow the opportunity to begin the work or to build on existing knowledge, therefore attending more than one of the weekends may be beneficial for personal development.
