Video Editor Volunteer – support veteran Military Musicians project
Film, music and military enthusiasts needed as Legasee Educational Trust combines forces with the Museum of Army Music at Kneller Hall.
Legasee has a number of rewarding roles for volunteers in the following areas: research, social media, filming veterans (interviewing or technical operation) and video editing. There are opportunities to become involved with the museum archives, meet veteran military musicians and work on resources for young learners. About the Video Editor Volunteer role:
Working from home, and at agreed hours to suit you, we would like a small team who will help edit pre-recorded video interviews to professional standard, creating a variety of outputs including full interviews, clips and montages. Adding overlays, captions and cutaways as directed, you will liaise with recording team to maintain high quality and best practice and work to agreed deadlines and specifications. Pre-agreed expenses will be met.
Legasee Educational Trust (reg. charity no. 1145354) is a charity set up to record the experiences and observations of all veterans of conflict from WWII until present day ‘to create the largest online film archive of this aspect of our social history that can be used for education, learning and better understanding for today’s generation and many generations to come’.
