4 week innovation program in fashion & tech in Berlin
Application deadline: April 28th 2019
Join a 4-week innovation program and co-create innovative ways of empowering and connecting communities through fashion and technology
The Connected Fashion Challenge
As fashion and technology increasingly join forces, new worlds of connection and experience open up for customers and fashion lovers across the globe. In our next Innovation Challenge, we want to invite you to be part of this exciting development. In partnership with a leading global fashion brand, the DO School will bring together 20 people from around the world to co-create a fashion collection that uses wearable technologies to empower and connect communities in exciting new ways.
What’s the challenge?
Fashion trends are moving at an unprecedented speed. At the same time, wearable technologies are becoming increasingly more sophisticated and widespread. Against this backdrop, clothes are not just practical items or fashion statements we buy - they can literally connect us with others and the broader world, and fashion can become an even more empowering experience. Together, fashion and technology have the power to innovate, empower and connect!
You can be at the forefront of this development. The Connected Fashion Challenge invites participants from all backgrounds, cultures and communities to come together, ideate, exchange with peers, and ultimately co-create an edgy new collection that fosters meaningful connections and places our partner at the vanguard of a new kind of fashion.
Over the four-week program, you will be guided through an innovation process, from ideation to implementation, with the goal of producing a concrete result: a collection that integrates wearable technologies into fashion and thereby empowers and connects communities in exciting new ways. All this in one of the most vibrant European capitals, Berlin, surrounded by dynamic individuals from across the globe, industries and experiences.
What you get
You will join a global community of purposeful DOers and innovators and have the opportunity to learn and execute the DO School Method, a tried and tested innovation process that equips you to put your ideas into action, quickly and effectively. You will be exposed to a network of international experts and make lifelong connections with like-minded peers who share your passion. Furthermore, the challenge gives you the chance to take a real-life innovation from the idea phase into the implementation phase - after the program, the collection you create as a group will go into production.
