We are looking for an inspiring and creative Artistic Associate to join our Artistic team!

The Royal Academy of Dance is a global leader in dance education and teaching, driving excellence in the development of dance world-wide.

You will play a key role in providing support to the Artistic Director. Working across the organisation, you will promote artistic integrity in all areas of the RAD’s work, including examinations syllabus development, student activities, bursaries and events, continuing professional development, music and the Step into Dance programme.

This is an exciting time to join us: we celebrate our centenary year in 2020 and will relocate to a new purpose-built headquarters approximately a mile from our current location in Battersea.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Leadership experience in a reputable dance organisation;
  • Proven experience of dance at a professional level, including ballet;
  • Demonstrable knowledge of professional dance and dance education sectors;
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
