Assistant Producer

Seeking to appoint a full-time Assistant Producer to assist in developing and producing new projects.

£19,725

Application deadline: December 6th 2017

This post is funded by the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme. Throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to attend an international festival and take part in training specifically designed by the Jerwood Charitable Foundation for the 40 bursary recipients around the UK, allowing you to build a network of peers over the course of the year.

We are interested in your potential, rather than your experience. This is an entry level position, and we do not require previous work experience in the field of theatre or dance producing.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the arts, particularly theatre and/or dance. You may have demonstrated this through taking part in shows at university, or in your community. You may be a trained dancer with an interest in moving into arts management. You may have an arts management degree.

This is a great opportunity for the right person to develop their skills, networks and knowledge of the dance and performance sector in the UK and internationally.

This post is offered as part of the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries Programme. To be eligible to apply applicants must be a full-time UK resident, have graduated since 2015 and have received a full maintenance grant in each year of their degree.

Please check the full eligibility criteria listed in the application pack carefully before applying.

This is a fixed-term contract from February 2018 – February 2019

Deadline for applications: 12 noon Wednesday 6th December 2017

Interviews will be held on: Friday 15th December 2017
