Building Maintenance Technician

Are you a super handy person who’s looking for an active role helping to improve and maintain a beautiful heritage building?
We’re looking for people with solid practical skills to work as Building Maintenance Technicians – repairing, improving and caring for Battersea Arts Centre’s Grade II* listed, RIBA award-winning Town Hall building.
You will work as part of a small team with the Facilities Manager and other Building Maintenance Technicians to set the standard for how our building should be cared for.
We’re keen to support and develop someone who shares and will champion BAC’s values. If you’re interested in building or facilities management, we’re able to provide exciting learning opportunities.
We are looking for someone with practical, transferable skills, so you don’t necessarily need to have worked in a similar role to apply. For example you might have experience in a caretaker role, working for a building contractor or as an art installation technician. If you’re a creative and proactive problem solver with the skills to carry out a range of repairs and maintenance, and you’re keen to work in a values-driven arts organisation, we want to hear from you.
