The British Museum has a unique opportunity for a Business Analyst to ensure that the Museum’s digital and technology services are compliant with government Cyber Essentials regulations. This is a key role for establishing pro-active and effective processes that meet business needs.
The post-holder will work with external consultants and Museum departments to identify and analyse needs, conduct requirements analysis, evaluate capabilities, recommend potential solutions and provide supporting policies. This role involves reviewing and updating policies relating to technology and the use of technology.
Educated to degree level, or equivalent, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in an IT environment working with formal methodologies related to business analysis. With excellent documentation skills, you will have strong analytical skills and will understand stakeholder needs in the context of the business.
We are interested in hearing from candidates with excellent verbal and written communication skills, who can liaise in a professional manner with a variety of stakeholders. With a team orientated approach, you will seek to build strong working relationships across the Museum.
