Salary: £37,000 per annum
Contract: 9-months commencing end of August 2019
Upswing are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join the team as Executive Director (maternity cover). The opportunity comes at an exciting time for Upswing as we enter creation and touring periods for two new shows; Catch Me, an outdoor work; and Seasons, a multiyear project developed and delivered with libraries in Brent.
The individual will work closely with Artistic Director / CEO, Vicki Amedume, to steward the charity over the next 9 months; supporting the delivery the business plan in 2019/20 and ensuring plans are in place for 2020/21. The role will involve working closely with Upswing’s Fundraising Associates to plan and develop applications for work in development.
The candidate will be a senior manager in the arts with a track record in strategic planning, complex project producing and budget control, generating income and developing effective relationships.
