We celebrate Shakespeare’s transformative impact on the world by conducting a radical theatrical experiment. Inspired and informed by the unique historic playing conditions of two beautiful iconic theatres, our diverse programme of work harnesses the power of performance, cultivates intellectual curiosity and excites learning to make Shakespeare accessible for all.
Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Head of Learning to oversee and implement the Education department’s strategies for Learning for school students and teachers in formal education. This involves ensuring workshops and projects meet the highest standards, programs are playful, theatre-centred and invigorate teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will have proven ability to develop and lead the implementation of education strategy and policy as well as be able to engage with and influence a wide range of audiences. The candidate will also have a collaborative management style and excellent communication and organisational skills.
