Jette Parker Young Artists Programme Assistant
£22,484 per annum
Application deadline: February 3rd 2020
The Jette Parker Young Artists Programme is now in its 19th year, supported by Oak Foundation. 10 singers, music staff and a stage director join the Programme for 2 years as company members, while receiving coaching in all aspects of their craft. They are involved in main house and Linbury Theatre productions, and perform regular recitals and guest performances. Alumni of the Programme return to the Royal Opera House to receive coaching and participate in ROH events.
The Royal Opera House is developing the Programme to enable a more diverse group of artists to be nurtured from a wider range of backgrounds to engage more effectively the society within which, and for whom, we work. A raft of new initiatives and special projects are run alongside the core programme.
We are now seeking to appoint an Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day operations of the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme. The post will develop the candidate`s administrative skills in the context of a large arts organisation. In addition to general administrative support, the role involves specific tasks such as audition administration, scheduling work and event co-ordination.
We actively encourage BAME and disabled applicants and value the positive impact that difference has on our teams.
