We celebrate Shakespeare’s transformative impact on the world by conducting a radical theatrical experiment. Inspired and informed by the unique historic playing conditions of two beautiful iconic theatres, our diverse programme of work harnesses the power of performance, cultivates intellectual curiosity and excites learning to make Shakespeare accessible for all.
We are currently seeking a Membership Manager to drive the delivery of membership in support of the cause of Shakespeare’s Globe by developing strategy, managing the Membership team and Friends Volunteers, and building strong relationships with the Globe’s existing and potential supporters on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will have experience managing a membership function within an Arts organisation or charity and be a confident communicator well practiced at liaising with and presenting key messages to existing and potential supporters. They will be a strong people manager who is skilled at supporting and overseeing both employees and volunteers. Demonstrable experience of using a CRM system or database is essential, with knowledge of Tessitura an advantage. The role does not suit regular working from home but we are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements for the right candidates.
