Project and Production Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and dedicated individual to undertake the key role of Project and Production Coordinator for this ambitious two-year programme that will engage people aged 16-30 in moving image, audio and interactive production within an artistic context. The successful applicant will be responsible for the coordination of the project and support the production of 36 short films, 60 audio and 4 interactive works, liaising with all Production Partners to overseeing the production and delivery of content to BBC, ensuring that the Programme is delivered in line with Stakeholder objectives, on schedule and to budget. Assuming the role of Producer on some productions will be required. They will also work on managing communication and outreach of the project, liaising with ICA colleagues and external partners; devising programme content in collaboration with ICA Curators and Production Partners; and coordinating workshops and events onsite at the ICA and across Partner venues. As part of the ICA’s Curatorial Team, they will seek to integrate the project within the wider programme at the ICA and contribute to the development of the ICA as an internationally recognised home for contemporary arts.

The post holder will strategize and realise the future Learning programme with these principles in mind, in discussion with the Director, Chief Curator and other members of the Curatorial team. This will encompass activities open to the public, and those solely for participant groups, both at the ICA and offsite. The role includes the oversight and development of the Social Creative Network – and on an offline platform for young artists and creatives to share their work and to build communities of resistance and resilience. The post holder will also be responsible for building on existing relationships with partner organisations and key collaborators, as well as broadening towards international partnerships.
