Social Media and Content Officer

This is a new and exciting opportunity for a digitally savvy and creative content producer to really make an impact. Reporting to the Media and Publications Manager you will develop and implement social media strategy and editorially curate content, draft compelling copy and generate meaningful conversations to drive growth and engagement. You will also work closely with the Creative Design Manager to commission exciting new content around our story and brand.
Experience of working in a busy environment with an interest in heritage is essential. You will demonstrate a good level of communication skills, with the ability to be confident, patient and articulate when communicating at all levels. A high standard of written skills is also essential, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure and have experience of copywriting, analytics, digital communications and/or marketing. Some experience of content production/broadcasting would also be advantageous.
