Shakespeare’s Globe is a unique international resource dedicated to the exploration of Shakespeare's work and the playhouses for which he wrote, through the connected means of performance and education. Together, the Globe Theatre, Globe Exhibition & Tour and Globe Education seek to further the experience and international understanding of the dramatic arts in all its forms, but principally in relation to Shakespeare in performance. The Visitor Experience department, which includes the Front of House, Security, Exhibition and Visitor Experience teams is the largest department at Shakespeare’s Globe.
We are currently seeking a Visitor Experience Assistant on a full-time basis for a fixed term contract of one year. Our Visitor Experience Assistants are the face of Shakespeare’s Globe, welcoming, inspiring and engaging visitors, clients, guests and colleagues with exceptional levels of customer service.
The successful candidate will be committed to providing excellent customer service to a wide range of people, particularly on the telephone and in person. They will be proactive, punctual, and able to work a variety of hours (including evenings and weekends). They will be a positive, helpful and friendly first point of contact responsible for providing knowledgeable and efficient information and service to both internal and external customers.
