How will I know who is speaking at the conference?
The full conference programme will be released in January.
Previous speakers have included: Lord Tony Hall, BBC Director General; Darren Henley, CEO, Arts Council England; Chi Onwurah MP, Shadow Minister for Culture & the Digital Economy; Nick Boles MP, Minister for Skills and Equalities; Marcus Davey, CEO, Roundhouse; and Claire Paul, BBC Academy.
How do I book?

What should I do if I have a problem booking my ticket?
Hopefully booking your tickets will be a smooth process. If however you do have any problems, or you can’t book online, please contact 0207 015 1800 or [email protected].
How do I book breakout sessions?
Breakout sessions will be announced with the full conference programme in January, and you will be able to book a place at the same time as purchasing your ticket. If you have bought a ticket before that time, you will receive a reminder email to go back into your order and edit, or you can email [email protected]. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Do I need to bring my ticket to register?
Yes, please bring your ticket with you to the conference. You will need this to collect your badge and conference pack. You can do this by printing it out, or by downloading it to your phone or tablet.
Is there parking at the conference?
There is ample free car parking on-site. If you have any bespoke parking requirements, please let us know in advance by emailing [email protected] or calling 020 7015 1800.
What time should I arrive?
The conference doors will open at 9.00am on Thursday 2 March 2017.
I am attending the Skills Awards the night before. Are there nearby hotels?
For ease of travel, we suggest that you stay at our recommended hotels:
Premier Inn Thurrock West
Premier Inn Thurrock East
Ibis London Thurrock M25
For those staying overnight at any of the above hotels who are planning on coming to our National Conference the following day, we will be providing a coach service which will take conference guests to The Backstage Centre for 09:00 on 2 March.
Should I bring my own lunch?
You are welcome to bring your own lunch, but we will be providing a full buffet lunch with various dietary requirements catered for. We advise you to save some space for our delicious cakes that will be laid out during the afternoon.
