Do you work with young people?  Could you help them to achieve a qualification through involvement in arts and cultural activity?

Arts Award is a unique set of awards for young people up to the age of 25, supporting them to grow as artists and leaders, take part in arts activity and develop creativity and communication skills, and it can be run in any setting where young people have contact with arts and cultural activity.  Arts Award is managed by Trinity College London and training in Wales is run by Creative & Cultural Skills.

A recent impact study showed that Arts Award has 10 characteristics which maximise its impact.  These include:

  • Leadership and peer tutoring
  • Collaboration
  • Personalised, independent learning
  • Reflecting on and shaping own learning
  • Learning outside the classroom

Full list of sessions run by Creative & Cultural Skills are below:
