Building a Creative Nation: Tutor CPD Event - Autumn 2016
How to create industry links and work placements to support the creative arts curriculum
Thursday 20th October 2016, Lewisham Southwark College, Waterloo Campus.
This event has been created for creative tutors and National Skills Academy education partners to examine the challenges of delivering a creative curriculum alongside the realities of embedding employability.
How should the requirements of the work placements components in the Study Programs be interpreted? This CPD conference is a chance to examine how to plan for effective and meaningful work placements for students to enable them to achieve and gain required workplace skills. You will also have an opportunity to examine best practice and generate new ideas and network with other Skills Academy members.
Following on from the Spring CPD conference in Cardiff that featured leaders from industry and education including David Evans from National Theatre Wales, Iain Tweedale from BBC Cymru Wales and Imogen Llewellyn from Welsh National Opera.
This event is free for our Skills Academy Education Partners and £50 for non-members. A member of the team will be contact with any non-members regarding invoicing.
