Creative Training and Delivery Conference (17 April)

Booking has opened for the Creative & Cultural Skills education partner 'Creative Training and Delivery Conference'.

Creative Training and Delivery Confrence. 17 April. Birmingham Met College.

The Creative Training and Delivery Conference has the sub-heading of ‘The collaborative learning space’. The Skills Academy network has both opened doors to a deeper work-based learning environment through Apprenticeship and industry life-briefs, and now aims to support colleges to re-shape their colleges to create authentic learning environments.

The Conference will take place on Friday 17 April, with the option for people to arrive on the Thursday (16 April) evening for a meal and talk.

The programme will be split into a number of strands including: enterprise in the creative curriculum, the collaborative learning environment, employability, and embedded work experience. Having worked with over 5,000 Skills Academy tutors over the last 6 years, we aim to bring together learning, as well as explore the current challenges they are facing. The day will be opened by theatre producer and entrepreneur Michael Jacobson on the ‘Business of Creativity’, followed by a host of industry partners including the Design and Crafts Council, allowing tutors to develop, as well as embed the emerging training trends across the sector.
