70 Production, Stage and Technical Crew Opportunities for volunteers at London’s newest culture festival on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

About UFest
London’s youngest artists are set to take over Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for the capital’s largest ever youth-led cultural festival this November.

UFest will showcase the best of creative and cultural activity for young people and has been developed by The Foundation for FutureLondon and London Legacy Development Corporation in partnership with Bigga Fish.

From 27 to 29 November 2015 events will offer exciting opportunities to get involved in music, dance, fashion,  comedy and politics in the iconic venues of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, including the Copper Box Arena and London Aquatics Centre.

The festival will culminate in a stellar music concert for 3,000 young people, presenting the leading lights of London and UK music culture. Artists include Naughty Boy who is known for his hits with Sam Smith and Emeli Sandé and his song "La La La" that was awarded 'Best Song' and 'Best Video' at the MOBO Award's 18th Anniversary. He has also produced hits for Leona Lewis, JLS, Cheryl Cole, Jennifer Hudson, Alesha Dixon and Tinie Tempah, among others.

Also performing is Fekky who recently tore up the stage at the BBC Grime symphony and is making major moves with his current single “Way Too Much” featuring Skepta. Plus, fresh from her latest video “Queen’s Speech Ep 4” and hitting over 30million YouTube views in one month, is Lady Leshurr alongside “the hottest thing on road” Section Boyz, and grime legend DJ Big Narstie currently riding high on radio playlists.

The Brief
UFest is opening up an incredible opportunity for to up to 70 Production, Stage and Technical Crew Volunteers have the chance to , showcase their creative talents on a festival stage in front of MOBO Award-winning artists, producers and audiences alike.

The programme, being supported by BiggaFish in partnership with Creative & Cultural Skills, calls for Production and Technical Crew Volunteers to rig, sound, light and to collaborate with professional festival production team staging across 3 major Olympic Park venues for the UFest Music Stage events.

Experience level recommended
This opportunity is best suited to volunteers with at least 1 year of experience in technical theatre, production arts and/ or live event production.
