Speakers programme

Looking for more ways to bring the Creative Industries alive in your school, college or university? Why not invite in one of our industry speakers?

Our speakers programme provides young people in schools, colleges and universities with access to a range of creative practitioners for talks and question‐and‐answer sessions.

Here are just some of the Speakers available to you:

  • Steve Cheney, Stage Manager at major festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude and Leeds
  • Renowned Theatre and Opera Designer Ruth Patton
  • Leading figure in the Jewellery industry, Harriet Kelsall

We can also bring you people from our wide range of Industry Supporters such as:

The experiences they share help motivate students by connecting them to the industry

Our list of speakers is always growing in response to demand, so please contact us via programme@ccskills.org.uk to find out what is available where you are.

If you have a request for a speaker from a particular discipline then let us know, and we’ll see who we can find for you.

A visit from one of our industry speakers is available for a variety of fees, with reduced and even free options for those in membership of our Skills Academy network.

"The experiences they share help motivate students by connecting them to the industry and turning their gaze outside the classroom towards their future.” - Helen Kingman, Lecturer at Cardiff & Vale College and University of South Wales
