Harriet Kelsall

Harriet Kelsall

First taught by her father, Harriet designed and made her first ring at the age of four, and sold her first pair of earrings at Covent Garden market on a friend’s stall at the age of 11!

Harriet now runs the UK’s leading bespoke jewellery design company, Harriet Kelsall Jewellery Design Ltd, who design, make and retail their own jewellery.

With a first class design degree, she founded her own company in 1998 from her kitchen table with the aim of making bespoke jewellery available to all and now has a team of 30 across two locations.  The company has been a trailblazer in the industry both by playing a leading role in establishing the credibility of bespoke design and winning a clutch of prestigious national awards and celebrity clients along the way.

Harriet was named the Everywoman in Retail “Woman of the Year 2011” and is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths. She mentors at the Peter Jones Academy and the Doug Richards School for Creative Start-ups and believes in encouraging creativity in the next generation.

Harriet is also a part of the British Jewellery Association’s national committee.
