Anthony has over 25 years’ experience in design and decorative arts management. He holds a Master of Design degree from the Royal College of Art, is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers where he sits on the Education Committee, an Educator Member of the British Institute of Interior Design, sitting on the Student and Professional Development Committees, a Member of the European Academy of Design and an Approved Lecturer for the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies.
He has taught and been an external advisor at numerous art colleges and universities. He has owned and managed a London-based design gallery and curated many exhibitions throughout Europe. He has extensive experience in course and curriculum development and has worked with government as part of the Lambert Review producing recommendations for a government white paper. In addition to his present role as Director of Studies at the National Design Academy where he has developed a suite of interior design related courses at Foundation Degree, BA (Hons) and Masters level. Anthony is presently studying for a PhD investigating the phenomenology of design objects within a specific environment.
