We offer a huge range of courses from Foundation Studies and Entry Level to Foundation Degrees and professional qualifications, for school leavers, adults and employers.

We are a forward thinking and dynamic college, and pride ourselves on putting the learners at the heart of everything that we do. We have a strong history of successful partnership work with employers, sector skills councils, communities as well as the individual.

Our highly successful Department of Creative & Cultural Studies offers a very wide spectrum of courses, including performing arts, music & music technology, media, film and TV studies, photography, interactive media, graphics, 3D design, art and design, fashion and theatrical make-up. Cardiff and Vale is an official sponsor of the BAFTA British Academy Cymru Awards and works with a range of high profile industry specialists in the region, including BBC Cymru Wales, Craft in the Bay, Theatre of the Oppressed, Sherman Theatre, the National Museum of Wales and Chapter Arts Centre.

We are using our recent status as the only Founder College in Wales to share good practice across the Welsh network and help nuture and develop creative talent within Wales.
