Organisation: National Funding Scheme
Paul Cutts is Chief Executive of the National Funding Scheme, a registered charity set up to support other cultural charities.
It does this through the DONATE platform, which it provides for free to arts and heritage organisations.
DONATE reclaims the Gift Aid on donations from UK tax payers, which is then passed on to the institution, adding as much as 25 per cent to the value of your gift. If you are a UK higher rate tax payer, you can claim back up to 31.25% of your gift through a personal tax reclaim. To do this you must register for Gift Aid but you only need to do this once for your registration to work for all donations made through DONATE.
You can log in to your account and see how much you've given - and how much you might be able to reclaim.
DONATE has been created to allow everyone to be part of our cultural diversity and heritage. We've made it easy for you to give to the things you care about and, if you give your permission, the receiving institution can stay in touch to let you know how its fundraising is going. If you want to stay anonymous, then that's fine too.
