CPD Event: Teaching Maths and Art

Learn to deliver creative and innovative student outcomes while addressing this key Ofsted agenda.

Date: {start-date} — {end-date}

Find ways to raise student attainment and embed maths into your creative subjects. Through presentations, exercises, discussions and reflection, you will be guided through a range of strategies and techniques that will support students in developing their mathematical skills.

Our facilitators will help you to deliver creative and innovative student outcomes while addressing this key Ofsted agenda.

You will:

  • find out how to identify the specific mathematical skills students will need to succeed in their chosen area of study
  • learn how to incorporate relevant mathematical skills as part of the course you are teaching
  • explore how to build your students’ confidence in applying their mathematical skills to practical situations in their everyday study
  • reflect on your own learning, how to use it in your teaching and to measure its impact.

Who should attend?

Ideal for those delivering art and design qualifications, especially GCSE, AS and A-level Art and Design, UAL Awarding Body at Levels 2, 3 and 4 and BTEC. All levels of expertise and specialism are welcome.
