This information is for the 2017 Awards Ceremony that happened Wednesday 1st.
Date and time
The awards will take place on the evening of Wednesday 1 March 2017. Doors open at 5.30pm. Seats will be taken from 6.15pm and the evening's proceeding will start at 6.30pm.

The nearest railway station is Purfleet, on the Southend to London Fenchurch Street line.
Free shuttle bus
We will be providing a shuttle bus service from The Backsatge Centre to the station and hotels. The shuttles will run at the following times:
- 9:30pm - 10:00pm: The Backstage Centre to Premier Inn, West Thurrock
- 9:30pm - 10:00pm: The Backstage Centre to Park Inn
9:45pm only: The Backstage Centre to Purfleet station
If you would rather do the final leg by taxi, please note that taxis should be booked in advance as there is no taxi rank at the station. Z Carz Express is one local taxi firm: 01375 383236.
The Backstage Centre is about a 15-minute walk from Purfleet Station.
Important notice: due to road works in the area, traffic is likely to be busier than usual. We advise drivers to add 30 minutes on to your expected journey time.
Take the Purfleet Bypass exit at Stonehouse Corner Roundabout, and take the first left towards Carpetright. Keep left until you reach the car park between the Royal Opera House production workshop and The Backstage Centre.

For those staying overnight at any of the above hotels who are planning on coming to our National Conference the following day, we will be providing a coach service which will take conference guests to The Backstage Centre for 09:00 on 2 March.

We would ask all guests to adhere to a ‘smart/elegant’ dress code.
Please note that the Creative & Cultural Skills Awards are a networking event, as well as a celebration of the fantastic skills and talent in the creative industries. We carefully design the table plans to ensure you get the most out of the evening; this means you may not be seated with the delegates you have booked with.
