Convert existing opportunities

When you look at your organisation, are there areas where you have high turnover of employees, such as front of house, box office, or junior administration roles?

Do you employ a junior role and then spend a lot of time training and developing that individual?

The great thing about converting these opportunities into apprenticeships is that they are sustainable, as you already have the salary cost in your budget.

Create a new opportunity

If you want to create an opportunity, make sure it’s the right job for your organisation. You need the relevant people to understand the role and the apprentice should feel they are valued and have something to contribute.

If you think you can employ an apprentice, offer plenty of opportunity to develop their skills and support them through their time with you. Both you and the apprentice will reap the rewards.
