Survey for National Portfolio Organisations - Deadline 25 May
Creative & Cultural Skills is investigating how the creative and cultural sector can support teachers, tutors and universities to provide up-to-date ‘employer-endorsed’ careers advice and guidance about the creative industries.
*Complete the survey before 5pm on 25 May 2018.*
We want to support teachers and tutors to fulfil their responsibilities as part of the Government’s National Careers Strategy: making the most of everyone’s skills and talents. Staff are often pressed for time and resources to take part in activities that are not part of their senior leadership priorities and often careers in the creative industries are not included in ongoing careers counselling. You might like to refer to the Gatsby Foundation’s Good careers guidance.
This survey is designed to provide information about what Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisations are currently doing in this area of education activity, or not, and what they could do.
The results of this survey will help us to make some recommendations to Arts Council England and the Clore Duffield Foundation about future investment in this work, and help reduce unrealistic demands on cultural organisations by schools.
